Have you ever wondered why it is that home buyers prefer new homes to ones that are even just a few years old?  It's no secret.  It's the way the model home looks. It is fresh and clean.  No clutter because no one really lives there!  Every aspect of the home is kept perfect.  We all know that it is nearly impossible to keep a real home that way, but there are a few tricks that can help.

These tips will have a positive impact on prospective buyers who are looking at your home!

Clean all your windows and screens.

Change out all of your light bulbs to bright white lights.

Clean all the face plates and light switches, replace any that are cracked or broken.

Change old faucets and hardware in the kitchen and bathroom to newer styles.

Walk through your home and take an inventory of what needs to be replaced in each room. This way you have a list to take to the hardware store and can make these updates in one easy trip.

Don't forget to have the carpets cleaned!

These changes won't cost much and will make a difference in the feel of your home.
